Here at Seven Shades of Black we are always on the look out for talented people to join our digital family. If you live in London it would be a benefit though international applicants are accepted. The list of people we are looking for and their job descriptions are below, this ranges from the magazine itself, blog, street teams or website :

Magazine:

Photography editor :

A vital job within the magazine, you will be the connection between the writers within your area of expertise and the main editor. You will have to contact the writers, solve or refer any problems they have with their article, make sure everything is handed in on time, help with the general promoting and posting items on the blog and give the main editor a list of people you want to interview.

PR/Advertising : We always need people with new idea so if you cover either area please do contact us

Website ( in construction ):

Comic artists:

A good way of promoting your own work to the world. As long as we like your illustration style, you can do anything you want within your comics! Political, story based or based on events. You might be asked to do special things for the magazine itself at some point.

Writers : We are looking for a roster of people who can review, discuss, mention anything on a weekly basis about art, design, fashion, music, film or anything else that is one a similar wavelength. If you want to write for the magazine you will have to join the website team for a few weeks so that we get a taste of your writing style, personal tastes and see if you will take it seriously.

We are currently in need of :

7 Music writers
1 Film writer
3 Fashion writers
1 Photography writer
2 Music writers

Video editing :

We might be pushing towards recording live events in the future from music events to fashion cat walks. You need to be able to show us some of the work you have already done.
